Many people are currently seeking outdoor activities to relax. They have a legitimate right to do so. However, according to the Baden-Württemberg Nature Conservation Act, they have to take into account the interests of the property owners and those entitled to use the property. These include in particular farmers, many of whom are currently carrying out important work in their fields and meadows. In doing so, they secure food supplies and work under high pressure. Their agricultural machinery cannot reach the fields in time if they have to travel long distances at walking pace. Therefore, the Department of Agriculture in the Tübingen District Office encourages walkers, hikers, joggers, riders or cyclists to step aside when necessary so that agricultural vehicles can pass by safely.
